Market trend in Evian
Stagnating prices and higher sales
No soaring prices around Lake Geneva. According to sources notarized, average prices per m2 in the former have even fallen 3.4% in the second quarter 2016, reaching an average of € 2,940 per m2 for apartments and € 353,000 for homes .
This decline could be explained by the many new property developments under construction in Evian and Thonon. Barnes, the volume of transactions is increasing in the first half 2016. However, the observed average prices remain stable. For example, a villa of 268 m2 with 4 bedrooms and direct access to the golf of Evian was recently sold by Barnes to over 1.2 million.
